Angela’s academic credentials include a double major in Law and Society and Sociology from York University, coupled with certifications in alternative dispute resolution and conflict mediation. Early in her career, Angela honed her skills as a coach in victim/offender training and as a mediator in North York courthouses. Her work in restorative justice initiatives taught her how to navigate complex legal landscapes, negotiate agreements, and liaise with legal authorities, all while making a tangible impact on her community. It’s no wonder she considers this one of the most rewarding experiences of her career.

Her journey continued as she stepped into the business world, leading her family’s wholesale distribution and logistics company to global success. Angela’s vision and leadership were critical in driving strategic expansions, developing key business initiatives, and creating long-term planning frameworks that set the business on a trajectory of sustained growth. Her adeptness at navigating complex negotiations and forging enduring client partnerships demonstrated her natural talent for orchestrating successful business development strategies.

Angela then spent a decade in the insurance field, excelling in underwriting and claims management. Whether assessing policies or managing accident benefits claims, she consistently maximized profitability while maintaining impeccable service standards. Known for her sharp analytical skills and commitment to continuous improvement, Angela trained brokers, guided risk selection, and enhanced underwriting abilities, leaving a mark of excellence wherever she went.

Beyond her professional achievements, Angela’s heart lies in giving back. As a devoted advocate for Canaaf, Angela supports families facing alopecia areata, a cause close to her heart, as her son lives with Alopecia Universalis. She also shines in her Greek community as Vice President of the Association of St. Nicholas Karditsa, passionately organizing cultural events and championing charitable initiatives across the GTA. Angela’s dedication to uplifting others reflects her deep commitment to making a positive impact, both personally and professionally.
